Three part, stainless steel case frame, screw-down case back and crown, smooth bezel,  curved lugs, acrylic crystal.  Case back engraved "G. Fusil, Elf Aquitaine, Record De L'Atlantique 1981"
DIAL
White dial with bar markers and black Roman numerals.
BAND
Stainless steel Rolex oyster band with 13 links.  Band #78360, end piece #580.

NOTE & BIBLOGRAPHY
Gérard Fusil participated in numerous races in multihull and monohull making three crossings of the Atlantic in the race and hanging to his list the record of crossing the Atlantic in 1981. He was one of three teammates Marc Pajot on trimaran Elf-Aquitaine to cross the Atlantic in 9 days and 10 hours.  Gerald Fusil founded Raid Gauloises which was the start of expedition competitions.  Then he created Elf Authentic Adventures.
